Features

  • There is a possibility to attach a lot of attachments to Products, Categories, CMS Pages per one "SAVING"
  • Possibility to show Attachments only for target auditory: administrator can select which customers groups will look attachments, select dates range and select website
  • An attachment could be saved on other hosting and could be attached to a product by URL. If file landing page requires additional information (like captcha, etc) the option "Use Redirect For URL attachments" would be very useful. The option allows redirect to the file landing page.
  • Possibility to enable or disable this extension on frontend from configuration page
  • Possibility to change header for Attachments Block
  • Flexible configuration
  • This extension does not change your design files, it only extends native Magento functionality

Configuration

  1. Log-in to Admin area go to System -> Confiruration -> Lanot Extensions -> Attachments:
    1. Chose "Yes" for "Enable Attachments On Frontend"
    2. Put preferred name for attachments title (it will show on Product's View Page)
  2. Go to ("Lanot -> Mass Attachments") click "Add New Attachment Set" button and upload attachments how many you want and Save the Attachment Set
  3. Go to your product, category, or cms page to edit it, click on "Associated Attachments" tab and look attachments wich were associated to this item
  4. Go to frontend on the Product/Category/Cms Page page and look changes

Installation

  1. Disable Cache (and Compiler if it enabled)
  2. Unpack received package and upload files onto Magento server
  3. Refresh page to initialize installation process
  4. Enable Cache
